The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering expert services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it can be alarmed concerning the higher variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some higher quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office dedicated to SRD service the area on a daily basis. The assistance level produced for intervention ordeals a significant influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tricky to the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to allow the servicing of all prospects and raise entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
